UPDATE: Street Repair Project Begins July 15th UPDATE

The City of Cleveland has contracted with Platinum Paving & Concrete Kansas City for a street repair project which will begin July 15th. Platinum Paving will lay a 2-inch asphalt overlay on the entirety of Third (3rd) Street, Fifth (5th) Street, Cleveland Street, and ALL of Meadow Brooke Estates. They will also repair potholes, depressions, and other street abnormalities throughout the city.
The tentative schedule for the crews (weather permitting) is as follows:
Tuesday July 15 - Crews will begin milling work in Meadow Brooke Estates and on 5th Street
Wednesday July 16 - Crews will begin milling work on 3rd Street and Cleveland Street. Paving will begin in Meadow Brooke and on 5th Street
Thursday July 17 - Paving will begin on 3rd Street and Cleveland Street. Crews will also be filling/fixing the potholes and depressions throughout town
Friday July 18 - Crews will complete the filling/fixing of potholes and depressions.
Please keep in mind that when the paving crews are in your area, portions of the streets will be blocked off and not driveable. If you have any questions, please reach out to City Hall or ask a crew member. Please drive slowly and safely around the areas that are being worked on and paved.
