Dog Tags Due- for Year 2026

Dog Registration: All residents must register their dogs at City Hall. Dog tags become due January each year; they become delinquent after January 31st. Dog tags are $5.00 per dog through January. Beginning February 1, a penalty of $10.00 is added to the cost for each dog tag (a total cost of $15.00 per tag). A current vaccination certificate by a licensed vet is required for each dog. If your dog is currently registered with the City and the vaccination certificate on file is still current, all you need is to purchase a new dog tag. If you have a new dog or if your dog’s vaccination has expired, then you must have the dog vaccinated and provide a copy of the new certificate when you purchase the dog tag. Please do not combine the water payment with the dog tag fee. If you no longer have the dog you registered last year, please inform City Hall.
